Mol is located in north part of Backa near river Tisa between cities Becej and Senta. It is 50km away from Serb-Hungarian border. Metal industry is second major activity in this region.


Idas company was founded July 1st 1971, as self manufacturing shop, with two employees. Production was done on automatic shaves, mainly as cooperative service for scraping parts.

Since 1973, Idas starts production of equipment for machine tools and as requirment of this production, buys special machines. Since then tool production is main production stream of this company.


Production of worm gear, gear speed and special reducers is since 1994 main product of company named "IDAS".

Collection of reducers today counts up to 250 different kinds and you cans see them in catalogue on this site. 

Beside great collection of Worm, gear and special reductors, we are also doing special metal processing on our CNC machines.

After the transition, through which our country was passing, we have managed to obtain modern technology and CNC equipment by our own funds. Company "IDAS" is four decades 100% private ownership and today has 30 full-time employees. The idea, strategy development and capacity were directed to the export of cooperative activities, services by the technical documentation to the customer and conventional CNC machines, where we can do a great range of machine works, which can be seen in this site.

By long tradition, we gained the knowledge and experience for the various precision-emanding parts. In cooperation with our subcontractors we are able to perform many other activities such as castings of gray castings, non-ferrous metals, chromium plating, nitriding, galvanizing, etc. ...
